Where oh where is that straight razor of mine?
YAY!Sons of Anarchy renewed for a 5th season. I don't have listings for cable shows on the front page but I'll post the 'big' cable news here.

The Walking Dead has been renewed for a 3rd season. Here's the interesting part - the number of episodes is TBD but it will be at least 13 episodes long. That means we could be seeing an even longer run next year if all pans out well.

I don't mean to be the guy that pisses in the punch bowl here but I hope they don't cut the budget and/or haven't lowered it the way they did for this season. It's hard to say how much that affected the show since we've only seen 2 episodes so far, but time will tell.
Not surprising they got the renewal notice though since the show did so well with the season 2 premiere.

bolded = AWESOME analogy
as for the renewal.. 13 EPISODES???? WTH i thought it was moving at a snails pace as is... and now they are going to drag it out and slow it down even more? this does not bode well in my oppinion..

i see well that sure as hell explains the snails pace and OVERLY drawn out scenes... IE FILLER and maximising PROFIT! :puke:This season is 13 episodes as well don't forget, it was only the first that was shorter.
I sense this may not be the news you were looking for.
sweeeeet!South Park has been renewed for 3 more seasons. This means the show will be on the air through 2016 which is pretty crazy.
