BTW, if any of you are interested in the Bond cars, you should check out the Top Gear: 50 Years of Bond Cars special. I'm watching it right now, and it's pretty fascinating stuff about the making of the movies (especially the chase scenes, of course :icon_mrgreen.

Saw it today. While I liked it a lot, I felt like they were trying to inject a little too much old-Bond nostalgia. I started liking Bond films all over again following the reboot. So far, my order of preference:

Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace
Skyfall

My favorite quote from the movie:

When Daniel Craig eventually does retire from playing Bond, I could actually see Elba in the role, providing that he's not getting on too much in age at the time. He's a fantastic character actor and he would be more than capable of shouldering such an iconic role, as well continuing the darker and more grounded take on Bond that we've seen in the Craig films. And at least I wouldn't consider him being black a problem, considering just how many actors have portrayed the character over the years.

Nah, I don't think he's the right guy for the part and even so he's about 10-15 years too late to have a shot. My first choice for the next Bond is as previously stated Idris Elba, or perhaps David Tennant (not gonna happen) or Chiwetel Ejiofor (though he's being discussed as possible villain for the next Bond, so that would rule him out).

Think Christopher Nolan expressed an interest in doing a Bond trilogy somewhere on the internet. Would love to see that.

I might have said it before somewhere on here, I did not care for Quantum of Solace. That was disappointing. They're getting a bit slow with the new Bond movies. Daniel Craig is getting too old, and he's supposed to do two more Bond films. They need to hurry up.
