Yeah, I saw it and it was pretty good and the villain wasn't that cheesy, he was actually decent and menacing. Could have cut back on the womanizing bits, kinda threw off the momentum with those scenes (yes, I understand if you happen to disagree because Bond is supposed to be a womanizer, eh). And I think they should enact this in every movie where they take some ubber baddy to a prison...they should shoot him/her in the knee. Make it difficult for them to escape if they happen to try....not like they're killing them. Just insuring their justified incarceration....

Awww...they have brought the womanizer thing back into Bond? Does this one keep the pace and sophistication of the two before it?

ok so just saw this and it is indeed a good movie and 2 hours of thrilling bigscreen entertainment!
i found the villain as MZZZ put it decent and quite menacing tho his accent was a tad to much but what is a bond movie without a villain with an accent eh?

def worth the watch and if i were a social person who could manage to deal with other people (and not kick them in the crotch) i would indeed go see it in a theater.

it gives me great joy to see that 007 can indeed become better each time once again and Craig is by far the best Bond ever.

Skyfall. see it it will not dissapoint.

this has been an OMNI oppinion.. post will self destruct in 5.4.3.2...............

not really no its the same as it was in the last to Craig bond movies so sure womanizing but not to much.

as for pace and sophistication the answer is YES perhaps even slighty surpassing it but overall it is the Craig Bond.

and trust me go see it, you will not require a refund afterwards.

Don't you also mean compared to all of Roger Moore, Shaun Connery and Pierce Brosnan? :D

I still cant believe those two were ever James Bond. Who was next, Shia LeBouf?

ive allways ALLWAYS hated the moore bond movies.. cept maybe moonraker as you know i have a thing for space shit :) but still shudders..
As for brosnan i donno i originally liked those movies but now looking back theywre indeed quite cheesy and cartoonish, the craig movies are far more mature imo.

Cartoonish is right. And I definitely agree with you, Craig is a more modern, mature Bond, who doesn't just walk out of an explosion without injury.

Alhough I must say, the manor explosion was quite cartoonish!

I have yet to see Skyfall so it could jump into my top Bond film list. But at present it is:

1) Casino Royale / Quantum of solace - I think of these as two parts of the same film because they are so closely related.

2) You Only Live Twice

3) License to Kill - Until Craig came along this was the closest we got to the "feel" of the book Bond's

4) Tomorrow Never Dies - Loved watching Brosnan get the show stolen right out from under him by Michelle Yeoh

5) From Russia with Love - Basic gritty Bond stuff
