Netflix begins to crack

Actually judging by the content they currently deploy don’t be so sure Apple would reduce the amount of content. I can find stuff on iTunes neither Amazon nor Netflix have. Where they may differ is historically they have not favored the “one monthly fee”model but rather a la carte prices.

Netflix could start adding porn to the services....seriously speaking!

there are already some pretty heavy movies on there

stuff that would normally get an X rating or NC 17 or something. they got it all but penetration

and some of the foreign movies...i go with korea again....in the korean movie industry there is no such thing as ratings as we know them. a movie is either no sex or all out sex. very little is left to the imagination

check out some of the scenes from A FROZEN FLOWER (a historical drama) on youtube. there are korean movies like this on netflix as well

or the french movie LOVE on netflix. ballsacks, erections, fingering and ejaculations....and thats just the opening scene :)

its the LOVE by Gaspar Noe.

See, for me that (bolded) is the dealbreaker. NO commercials. No exceptions. They are now so gone from my life that I have an actual physical response (negative) to them. They are the primary conduit for corporate and political social engineering and behavior modification.

I'm not really arguing against your point but wanted to mention that Netflix might be absorbed into another company (like Apple or Disney) before it crashes totally. I think whoever buys it will do it at a discount. I simply can't imagine anyone stupid enough to pay "full price" for Netflix. Then again, there's all sorts of financial shenanigans that happen on Wall Street so who knows how it will ultimately play out.
Agreed but I am damn sure that if netflix does go under, Apple will be the first to buy it. They are a perfect match. It could explain why I have avoided netflix or don't see the hype surrounding but I like to see how a company works.

Nasdaq Tech index is going to really be great to short. I have a pretty good idea of when it's going to happen. GS and banks rule the money supply. All the BS you read in the news is just smokes screen and only gives people the illusion that determines the SP but the banks control everything. They do that to control our lives. The same dickheads that CAUSED THE GFC WITH THE SAME WAY that caused the entire financial crisis to go ape shit is back again. CDOs(
Collateralized Debt Obligation
) which are just bad debts that no one wants but are classed as "assets".

I am going to call the 26th of July as the start of a major correction, because that is when amazon is releasing its reports AND the federal reserve is meeting for the interest rate, then another one in september and then one finally one in october; where we will enter into a bear market i.e. a so called recession and pretty soon everyone will go to war with each other. That'll force banks to raise interest rates which will cause more volatility and then a crash. All the corporate debt will be written off(lol) while us plebs will still have debt. Some how miraculously, the world will come out of a global financial crisis.

All that money will be transferred across through to bitcoin/cryptocurrency in the meantime. That's where that money went from Netflix went into and is being funnelled into right now :).

Whatever happens with Netflix, it will need to preserve it's character in order to appeal to it's current subscribers. I recently suspended my Netflix because Kodi on my Fire TV gives me all of that content, is searchable and 100% commercial free like Netflix. Cost is not a factor. I pay gladly for my Amazon Prime, as I can create collections, I get Prime discounts and other values in the Amazon ecosystem for my Prime membership.

Netflix's future was fated when Prime Video came on the scene. Prime is what Netflix needed to be in order to compete. Has anyone speculated to see if Amazon might be who buys Netflix? I sure did not see them buying Whole Foods. I thought it might be another market chain.

They could but I am seeing Apple more likely because they have money. They'll be able to restructure their debt/assets and even pay it off.

So does Amazon. Apple and Amazon are #1 and #2, both heading swiftly to a $1 TRILLION valuation in worth. And Amazon's reach is much much deeper than Apple in a diverse collection of markets.

yeah..i dont watch those free streamers very often. check in every once and awhile to see if anything god is there

ROKU channel is pretty good, i dont recall commercials there

but, you know as well as me that so many americans "trained" on cable or antenna ,will sit through all manner of commercials. hell, some ppl even watch for the commercials

either way, they have to be having some effect on the pay streamers

i see where SONY, i believe, has bought CRACKLE, wonder if they have any bigger plans for it?

that would be good

AMZ could cut the "fat" from the NF collection and keep what IS good. triple their library overnight

doesn't netflix already run on AMZ servers or something?

A merger is definitely in the future for Netflix. It will be interesting to see which company buys them and what happens with all that debt Netflix is carrying. I simply can't believe that the acquisition team would be stupid enough to believe Netflix is worth what they claim they are. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Cash is king. While amazon is well diversified and has been around for a long time, it's market cap is grossly over valued. That 1 Trillion dollar valuation is just full of money from Goldmans and the banks. It's a trap for retail investors who will see their money disappear. It's a legal ponzi scheme intended to make a truckload of money used to pay off their bad debts and get them out of trouble.

Don't believe me? Go checkout Netflix. The Share price fell by 50 dollars in just a single day.

If you also check Amazon's balance sheet, they have very little spare cash, whereas Apple has a shit ton of spare cash. More so than every country out there. Like I said, it's going to come down to a more realistic price very soon but slowly.

Right now all the trades are done by bots. With a flick of a switch they can see the price fall by 50%. To them the sharemarket and money is a game and these people get a laugh out of seeing people cry and suffer.

I realize that but they've acquired a lot of companies

They already own us and soon will control us fully.

Interestingly, the only company in that list I've ever heard of before is Shazam.

Oh and Emagic rings a bell because I used the Logic software a tiny little bit at some point long ago and Siri rings a bell too but I thought that was just an Apple product.

idk why so many companies are getting into live tv

i have had SLING, HULU LIVE and now have DIRECTV NOW, all via ROKU and none are really much diff content or price wise

main diff was SLING TV was just clunky, HULU had no main channel lineup and directv has some free movies

They own YOU and will control YOU fully you meant to say, right? :) Apple is rich but tiny compared to Amazon and Walmart and Samsung and so many others. Apple's reach is really kinda small compared to even Starbucks. When talking only about dollars, Apple is a big player. But that is because they get Applebots to pay several times the worth of their products, which are neither the best nor the most popular. Apple still sells less smartphones in the US and other markets than Samsung does. And there are several times more Google Android phones than Apple iPhones. They (Apple) are just a sliver of the PC market too.

The trouble is that I think majority of the people like being slaves/puppets. It's a lonely world when you just can't do that or become part of the drone.

That is sad. :( The majority of people I hang out with are vehemently independent thinkers and reject all of the slaver tech and social media traps. (Apple and Facebook specifically). The choice is still yours to make...for now, at least. :)
