They think the liberal college bubble IS the real world. They bring all that baggage into the workplace and mess everything up. I am seeing it where I work already. There are about 100 interns hired each season, and this year's crop are even worse than last year. They want ping pong tables, a "quiet room" which is still a safe space by another name. They like taking their lunches all at the same time so they can hang out, and they don't understand why they can't install Facebook Messenger on their company iPhones or access Pinterest or Instagram on their work computers. They are socially inept and disrespectful to older men in the company, especially if they are white which most of them are. Just today, I heard one of them in one of the kitchens asking why there were no openly gay or trans people working in the company. That we needed to be "inclusive" and encourage "intersectionality". LMAO, not where I work, sorry! The company is very old and instantly recognizable to just about everyone. And it is conservative for the most part. The bathrooms still have clearly marked men's and women's icons on them. HR does not hear complaints about people being offended, nor are parents allowed to come on the campus to visit their little snowflakes at work. They really piss me off. But, not ALL millennials.
That Carlos Maza thing really got to me. These kids actually do not understand or support free speech. Allowing people to express their opinions freely is dangerous to them because opposing opinions offend them or trigger them. They do not get coddled where I work. I hear the staff complaining about how messy they are, as though they expect the maintenance crew to clean their daily messes.

I don't care what is being "pushed", because I am smart enough to choose what "takes" and what I ALLOW to be presented. I picked those videos because I agree with what they say. I have my life in order. I do not feel depressed or confused or frustrated. I know who and what I am, and I like myself. I am not sure what you are saying there...

I got so mad at work. I almost had an outburst. 
. The summer interns are ALL millennials. They are responsible for the completely asinine "harassment training" and the new "inclusivity directive" where I work. This is a sample of the lessons:
I actually had to stop in the middle of the training and go out to walk off the anger. We all wear headphones, and my coworkers could hear me cursing at my monitor as these screens were coming up talking about microaggressions, and far leftist BULLSHIT. A crop of questions came up after the lessons were over, and although none of the answers were "wrong", if I chose the traditional (conservative) choice, it would tell me that I should consider taking more lessons to get a "broader understanding of today's current values". Mind you, only two of these courses were mandatory and were related to gambling policy and sexual harassment. The pages above were "recommended lessons" added to my lesson queue by HR. Trust me, the Executive Floor probably did not sanction any of this crap and if they are made aware of the garbage in these lessons, they would likely squash them. It appears that these lessons belong to a sensitivity course created by an outside company hired by HR.

It was terrible. My first reaction was "what the f**k?", then I noticed my co-workers grinning because I evidently said that outloud. After a couple of more pages, I had graduated to a pound on my desk, which is when I decided to take the headphones off, pause the lessons and lock the computer to go for a walk. I haven't been so angry at my monitor in a long long time. There were videos too, portraying scenarios. Everyone in all of them was a millennial, very female heavy. 99% of HR is female, with one wimpy, quiet geeky looking guy in the corner cubicle. I am sure they have penis shamed him.

That was the commentary from one of my coworkers who is from rural Oklahoma. He kept asking the other guys on the team "Have you found it?". They would say "Found what?". His answer was "My white privilege. I can't seem to find it anywhere".

BULLSHIT. I was not sold a fantasy, I was introduced to real life and I learned through a series of successes and failures how to work hard and get the things and situations I wanted. Luck had little or nothing to do with it. You are making excuses.
Others are lazy and entitled, and refuse to do the work necessary to improve their lives. Instead, they waste time fretting and making excuses as to why the world has not fallen into their laps. That is a Millennial mindset...not ALL Millennials though.

If it weren't for people like Stephen Hawkins and the countless military veterans I see who are playing basketball with a prosthetic leg or running marathons with TWO prosthetic legs, I might have some sympathy.
