I'm just still waiting for the porn version.
Yeah agree with you there, to at least acknowledge the existence of the other ones in some brief cameos or something. But you have to take into consideration, this is comic book universe. It's not really about all the logical consequences, extreme realism, and whatnot - more about what they represent, heroism and whatnot.
Thor is back in Asgard, no need for a cameo, and he has his own movie coming out soon.
Cap, Hawkeye and Black widow are probably off doing something for SHIELD, no need for cameo.
Bruce/Hulk -should- have a cameo in IM3, or at least a mention because at the end of Avengers, he went of with Stark.
They even state at the end of Avengers that they are going their separate ways *for now*.
Where is the lack of consistency?
The fact none of them show up in each other's solo movies no matter how bad the villain is or how much chaos and destruction with which they have to deal.
What kind of hero would IM be if he needed to call in Thor to deal with another human?
Really dude, these guys are *superhero's*, the Avengers unite to take care of threats a single hero cannot, they are not on speed-dial
He doesn't "need" to call in anyone. Superheroes aren't on speed dial, they don't get "called in", they show up when there's serious trouble and Thor isn't the only other Avenger. What you're suggesting would be like a cop handling a bank robbery and the other cops on dispatch or driving by figure "ah, he's got that one so why bother" and drive off. So, yeah, if another "superhero" is aware of what's going on (which they would be unless they're all on another planet at the same time) they'd show up and put an end to the chaos in minutes rather than drag on for days, causing damage, wounded, possible casualties, etc.
Here's another question. Since Thor is a god, why are any other super heroes necessary at all? Who the hell is more powerful than a "god"?
The original Avengers included Ant-man and The Wasp. Im glad we did not get them in the last movie.

Ant Man is getting his own film and will be in Avengers 2. Guess you didn't see the pics:
He's sort of funny in a way, I guess:
Pym's the one with Wasp.
