nawwww it was alec baldwin in the hunt for red october (with a schziod beverly crusher as his wife...in one scene she goes from an american accent to an english one...terrible job cutting that scene together!)...really was disappointed when they recast the role with harrison ford in the later movies....ford is way too long in the tooth to play jack ryan!
