THE EXPANSE --it's premise, plot and socio-political implications

It's weird the way they left things. In this sixth episode suddenly the whole 3-sides struggle came to a resolution. It felt rather rushed to be honest. But okay, that part is over now. But, if this was going to be the last season, then why did they build up this separate story line of the children on that ring planet? That is now left completely up in the air. I suppose if what Joelist says is correct and there would be a 30 year time jump for a next season, those children become the main characters?

I kinda agree I didn't need the scenes set on Laconia as they make the season feel like it is not a wrap-up. The rest worked pretty well. The Belters wind up throwing in with Earth and Mars against Inaros and the final destruction tore Naomi apart as she thinks her son is on the flagship. Holden's final maneuver with the Transport Union was right on the money and the only real way to get the Inner - Belter divide to start to heal.
