Just watched the one you posted. I do like a lot of the way it is done - but not sold on the guy playing Spock. He does the lines but doesn't seem to "get" the mannerisms. However the polish of the rest of it compensates.
Skinny Spock with the high cheekbones from Phase II is worse. The guy playing Spock in ST New Voyages is too muscular to be a Vulcan. We have seen many Vulcans over the years of Star Trek and none of them are muscular. That would not be an issue if his acting chops were not subpar. The guy playing Kirk has his role down pat. Brilliant acting. And Doohan has his dad's part down pat plus he looks like him too! The person playing Uhura has her part down pat as well, and she is a decent actress. Sulu works well, but Chekhov needs improvement. McCoy they keep swapping with different actors.
