That is an interesting article about the DVD sales of season 5 of SGA from 27. July 2009.
It seems that the 5th season of Atlantis sold in the first THREE WEEKS after it release 179,473 times in the USA alone!

And for everyone who wonders, SGU season 1.0 DVD didn't make it into the top 30! That DVD was released on the 9th Febuary 2010. See for yourself the charts shortly after the DVD release:

And it seems SGU season 1.5 was released on the 27th July 2010. So far it didn't appear in the top 30 charts, too!

These charts are awesome because of who they DONT list! There is no way to spin any aspect of SGU. I noticed all the comparisons to SGA season 5 stopped, the prices of the season 1.0 DVD have dropped, and its still not selling. My local video store sent those back a month after he was talked into ordering them. This time, the season 1.5 DVD wasnt even ordered! If people want it, they have to order it, and its only for sale. They do have a copy or two for rental, but my friend there says nobody has asked about it.

Can I just say your amazing you find all the good facts to back up what we all thought. the sales for sga were great and the sales for sgpoop were actualy poop! now the squeedrones needs to see these somehow!

Of course Deevil has then nothing better to do than to dispute that whole site, because they dare to make some educated estimates! :roll:

He probably would only be satisfied, if people who work for that site went to EVERY shop which sells SGU DVD and ask EVERY online shop owner who sells SGU DVD for the exact numbers of DVD they sold!

I like how Deviil now doesnt want comparisons made between previous gate shows? i wonder why wasnt it the fanboys who proclaimed dvd sales and ratings the reason for no more sga?????? ye its nice to seem the wrong footed!

Tanith and Major Davis dont know the show is doing badly. To them, SGU is thriving and they think they can look forward to 3 or 4 or perhaps 10 seasons of this show! They have NO CLUE that the show is already at yellow alert because the censorship at Gateworld has them thinking there are no real negative comments. They think there are "a few things" wrong with the show, but nothing serious. Stargate Universe is alive and well and ready to roll for 10 years. Just LOL!
