We saw this coming. :) The streaming landscape is going to end up like cable did. Separate streaming channels costing a certain amount each will be available, and then some platform like Roku for TV or Roku devices will allow you to add the channels and tune into them individually. This means the end of services like Netflix and Hulu. Good luck with that though! HBO seems to believe they deserve $14.00 a month for subscribing. LOL! No, they are definitely not worth that. Disney has lots of cool stuff, but they better be careful what they charge.
^ Like I said before, we are given more options to try and get more money out of us but they'll keep trying until we pay 5-10 dollars to each network. Eventually people will cave into the temptation. We are back to the same old cable ways where they were gouging 60-120 dollars a month from customers because there are so many options. Too many for any sane human being to keep up. Imagine if there are 10-20 different services... if each one costs 10 dollars, that comes to 200 dollars a month. We will also go to out to the movies where studios will double dip and pay these assholes to watch crap. Best thing to do is cut everything. I can't believe they cancelled enterprise even though it had 4 million viewers. Today people would love to have those ratings :(. How did discovery get a second season. Now we are going to get shorter seasons and less content in shows because of this.
