Is it just me, or isn't the whole zombie craze thing about over? We had a werewolf phase, a vampire phase, a witches phase, and a zombie phase. That is over, isnt it?

Is it just me, or isn't the whole zombie craze thing about over? We had a werewolf phase, a vampire phase, a witches phase, and a zombie phase. That is over, isnt it?

Zombies never really went out of style. Remember, the genre was created in the 60s by Romero and continually expanded upon and evolving into a story about an unstoppable contagion. I think the human fascination with the zombie epidemic storyline stems from the psuedo science behind it and our fascination with epidemic infections leading to the possible extinction of our species.
The vampire is just plain stupid, as is the werewolf. Vampires evolved into shiny, glittery pretty boys and werewolves into shirtless wannabes who get type-cast and never work in Hollywood again.
