Think prequels should also count in this if they are incredibly dumb. Like Prometheus.
So how can they continue on this story? No seriously the movie ended with that dumb pseudo scientist and the head of an android flying off to the 'Jockey' race's homeworld or whatever, I call them the Jockey race because that was the original name given to them, Engineer sounds like some you could have some guy about to do the plumbing or fix your Iphone I don't know. Side note, in the Original, they weren't freaking Albino humans, just weird funky aliens with technology that was based around bio-mechanical systems so it looked organic or blended seamlessly.
Getting side tracked here. The problem here is that we still believe Ridley Scott can pull something off even though he's being going down hill since Gladiator, too many apologists. Plus I think we're pretty tapped out for ideas within the Alien Franchise, you can only do so much with it and most of it is now exhausted. Everything is known because everyone knows about the Alien universe. Prometheus would of been actually good if the characters weren't brain dead and in the circle jerk of creationism (like how they completely ignore that we share 90% of our DNA with all life on this freaking planet) but hey lets not get little things like facts or truth get in the way out their BS.
