...but when you see past the backdrop of space, you get a dated 1960's story. These kids and adults have been living in a "bubble" on that ark-like ship, which means the society aboard the ship will be values and ideas from back in the 1960's and 1970s. How convenient for older writers to get work.
Im not having high hopes. The majority of that show is going to be the society and interpersonal relationships on that ship, and they will be living in value systems that applied in the 1960s. Why would that be entertaining TODAY? How will they change the dynamic unless aliens are introduced (yeah, right).
Ill watch the premiere....
