Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Watched this the other day. Finally a new Marvel movie, been a while. At first I got some "cheese" vibes from it. Figured the fight choreography might be similar to "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and it sort of was, which made me thing ugh. But once I got over that it wasn't too bad and there was some good action. It's one of the more boring movies in the MCU though. There were some moments that somehow managed to grab me emotionally, even though I can't really explain why or which those moments were. It is sufficiently entertaining to give it a watch. I hope the character will beget more interesting stories in movies to come, either as stand-alone or as part of an Avenger-like ensemble cast.

It's.....okay. Shang Chi himself is okay. I found his girlfriend (Awkwafina) unwatchable though. And the CGI is a bit much. Like you said some set pieces are okay, however the plot as a whole has logic gaps one could drive a truck through.
