Guess Sean Bean Really IS Rather a Noble Kind of Guy...

He's played everything from good guys to bad guys.

It's unusual to see an actor playing both sides of the street, unless it's an actor who's trying to do something "out of character" (pun intended) for him/herself.

But I've always enjoyed him.

He's not too hard on the eyes either. :icon_e_wink:

Did not care for the uber scruffy look for TGOT, I hope he gets a more clean cutt look for his next role.

Whenever I look at Sean Bean I can't help but think of 006 from Goldeneye. I think it was that awesome/hilarious death he had :

006 - "For England James"
Bond - "No. For Me"

Then he fell about the distance of a skyscraper, survived and then was crushed by giant space monitoring (something or other, i forget what) thing he's somehow hid under a lake. The really funny thing is that he had the money to build that and yet he was planning to rob banks.

Anywho this reminds me I still have Game of Thrones still to watch. I was saving it till the end of the season in the hope it would be as awesome as Spartacus/Dexter which I enjoy more when I don't have to wait.

He looks like two totally different people. It is weird how for some it makes such a big difference and for others, not so much.

I thought she was his co-star. Is he dating her? Isn't she around his daughter's age? So who was offend by her top-less posing past which according to the news was the reason for the brurah? Sean or her? The comment could have been overlooked rather than acted upon. White knight goes right out the window for me since I don't believe she had any honor to defend. It was his male vanity that got tweeked that everyone else has seen the goods.

I understand that she is his 22 year old girlfriend, and that she is a former Playboy playmate.

Regardless of her past, rude comments made to her by the guy who ended up stabbing Our Hero are still unacceptable.

Should one be forever damned for previous actions? It's not like she murdered and/or ate someone. The guy wasn't offended, he was being rude and crude.

And Playboy's "spreads" are far more classy than something like Hustler or Forum. Closer to art than sleaze.

Maybe so but it comes with the territory. Once the line gets blurred it's hard to see. Yeah, we had a guy who would log in as another employees and view porn. It took the DP dept to stop Personnel from firing the woman whose log on was being used. The dept head on down to the tech that caught it informed HS that women don't look at porn on line but men do so let us keep looking into this and sure enough it was guy who fiqured out her password and using it to go to the wrong sites. She put it out there and got paid so she'll have to live with everything it brings whether it's good or bad. I agree the guy didn't have to say anything either but it's a place that they both went to so who is more wrong. Her or Him?

I would say if she was wrong and he was defending her honor he is a stand up guy. If he was wrong and defending his own, that would be different. Any man that is willing to stand up for his woman is good in my book. It is those that are cowards that are not worthy.

It's not as if the pictures that were taken of the young woman while she was a Playboy playmate were crudely done. The young women who pose for those photos aren't playing with "toys" or sticking fingers in titillating places. As a photographer, I've taken nude shots of some of my subjects and consider them to be art, not pornography.

Some people are proud of their bodies and aren't shy about displaying them in a tasteful manner. Having pictures of oneself taken while nude doesn't mean one is a slut, male or female.

Never said she was just that she shouldn't be offended if a fan/man makes a comment about her since she is so uninhibited perhaps others are as well even in their use of their language around her.

But this was about defending her honor. Men defend women's honor all the time when we are wrong. That just makes him even more of a stand up guy to me.
