I liked Soul Train also. Remember when he had Chi-Lite and the Emotions on?

I recently saw a thing on Soul Train and from what I understand American Bandstand came in and copied their formula because it was so successful. Cornelius created a genre in a sense.

One of my fave clips is of Honey Cone singing "Want Ads" and "Stick Up"! replete with 70's wigs and big dresses but man can that lead singer belt out a song!

The trademark of the show was the Soul Train Line!

The Soul Train line is where you saw the latest moves come out. This show is where Jodi Watley and Jeff got their start. As well as Damita Joe Freeman (appeared in Private Benjamin with Goldie Hawn). All from the Soul Train Line. Check out the 1970's fros and outfits! That era was one of the best, most fun periods of my life. :)
