When I first heard about this sequel I almost did a sex wee in my pants.

It actually looks better than the orignal...I remembering seeing Tron in the theater...7 months pregnant and the graphic made my morning sickness worse...motion sickness. This does look fascinating...one question...anyone know if bruce boxleitner is in it?

Ok, I have a request. Apparently there was a 10 min Tron 3 trailer going around, could anyone find it? The youtube versions have been taken down by Disney.

Tron 3 :( I think I just threw up a bit. :redface:. They just need to plant a few of these, and they wont need to make that HUGE mistake they are making with Tron 3!

We do not need a Tron 3 Movie . Tron 2 was a very big let down for me . The original will always be my fave but the new one was just drab . I will not be going to the theater to see Tron 3 or even the next few Avatar's either . I am finding big budget movies just seem to be throwing eye candy at us with out any sweet's in the candy . I enjoyed The Lord of The Rings trilogy and the original StarWars series . These new movies are not peeking my interest anymore . It could be that I am older but I am feeling that they are lacking substance , feeling , or thought . The producers just want to wow us all the time . It was great a few years ago with the increase of technology , but I feel it is now gone over the top just like auto tuning has and is , being overused .

OMG, I hated this movie when I first saw it, but a friend wanted to watch it with me and I watched it again just now. I really hated this movie. I mean REALLY hated it. It was drab, it broke its own canon and its premise is so dated as to be almost campy. When you watch the original, you suddenly realize that Flynn (the original protagonist played by Jeff Bridges) shouldnt have a son. So in Legacy, they add him in (threw him in?) and create a completely implausible alter-world they call the Grid...still. It uses a mentality that only worked when most people did not own a PC or a smartphone (because they didnt exist). It came out during a time when a telltale antenna with a curly squiggle in it on the back of your car meant you had a mobile telephone (ooh la la, fancy!). To a 9-year old even, this movie induces eyerolls.

An offroad vehicle on The Grid? Really? Street clothes? This isnt science fiction, its science fashion.

Well, I made a big mistake. I saw Tron: Legacy on cable.

Now I need a memory wipe badly. This film is horrific. Poorly acted, weird SFX and a plot that must have been written by the SGU writing team. Maybe I should have watch Event Horizon instead...

You were warned, dude! :) It really was the worst, wasnt it? I think the next one will be even worse than that one was. Im even thinking Battlefield Earth was okay compared to it...and Battlefield Earth was just...:facepalm:.

Yes, I was warned. Alas I was up late and it was on so I turned it on. Probably should have just stared at the ceiling instead.

How about Event Horizon? Is it worse? I woulod say Tron:Legacy could drive you to do what Sam Neill did to himself in that film....

I have no intention of inflicting Event Horizon on myself. The remark was sweeing if people think it is worse than Tron: Legacy...

I know I've seen Event Horizon a long time ago. I don't really remember anything about it though. Now I'm curious again. :) Perhaps the movie isn't so bad.
