New Episode!
First impressions - acting good, okay story but like the E07 needs to be a little more subtle in its commentary. Nonetheless a good entry in the fan fiction standard bearer!

OMG, who is this screaming queen with the bad toupee playing Captain Kirk??? Are we actually to believe he's heterosexual? Puh-leez! The only attraction he feels towards the female form is a subliminal envy for the clothes they wear. No doubt this peter puffer keeps his balls in Spock's tricorder purse (which he also envies as it's rather fetching with its black leather strap that would totally match the black leather pumps he keeps hidden under his bed).
John De Lancie contributing to this show, fascinating. It's good to see that he's a team player who isn't above taking risks on something like this.
Phase II came first then was renamed New Voyages, and after a short time it was abandoned. It had some good stuff and also had Star Trek alumni guest starring on it more than once.
Star Trek Continues came later and has as OM said the really professional style production. John DeLancie isn't the first established actor to appear - other episodes have had Erin Gray, Gigi Edgely, Michael Dorn, Jamie Bamber and others. Plus, Star Trek Continues has a specific length - 11 episodes - after which it ends. That comes from its mission to "complete" the original voyage of the Enterprise from TOS. Originally it was 13 episodes but the whole Axanar (Alec Peters) fiasco affected STC too.

The June 2017 entry mentions it
Basically it was only meant to go thirteen episodes in the first place. But, the Axanar fiasco and resulting changes meant they had to use on hand funds and supplies which meant they had to end at episode 11.
Vic Mignogna? Uh, no. Not gay. He actually does the best Kirk ever done besides William Shatner, and he is a better actor than William Shatner by a longshot. Have you watched any of these episodes from Star Trek Continues? The last 5 or so have been better than the TOS episodes from any of the three seasons.
