I hope this new series keeps in line with Carl Sagan's ship of the mind.
Fox is not just "faux news" dude.
Why on Fox? It's science. It goes against their entire right-wing ass-kissing agenda.
Fox is such a contradiction. I'll never understand that network.
Its FOX not Fox news
Surely you don't think stuff like Married with Children, the X FILES, FRINGE, THE SIMPSONS and all of the other stuff was/is right wing quackery do you?
And the "ship/spacecraft" in this trailer looks very familiar from some other show or movie-- I am thinking something ST(?)
You pointed out a show about stupid kids failing school, a dad who works in a shoe store and a stay at home mother. Sounds like the typical right-wing family.
Next is a show about conspiracies. 'Nuff said.
Can't trash the Simpsons. They rule!
It does seem oddly familiar. Can't put my finger on it, though.
Married with Children, the X Files, and The Simpsons were all pre-Murdoch.
Yep. Very true.

All i hope is the new Cosmos does not go down the I D path, if it does, that will be sad

I just remembered, it is from SLAVE 1 from SW's that I get the similarity.
According to this article, it will be on NatGeo (which is a fox channel now yes?)

Just like I still have a the book version of ASCENT OF MAN that also aired on PBS, I used to have a book version of COSMOS as well. It got lost over the yrs of moving though. Never missed an episode-it and Sci Fi is what made me not a scientist but a science fan.It is but I like some of NatGeo's content. I will definitely watch it, if even to pay homage to the great Carl Sagan. I used to watch Cosmos as a kid religiously.

Flight of the Navigator?
The ship changes shape when it's about to go into high speed, if I recall.
