After catching up on the 100 or the 38, 37, 36, if you must, I got the impression that someone crashed through Aldos Huxley's doors of perception and took one heaping handful of Soma all at one time.
Don't know where they are going with this one? The “black blood” or black oil has been hinted at for several shows. So, the Commander talks with all the previous commanders while she takes her nappy-poos. Bekka, or is it Becca, the computer specialist comes back down to earth and maybe ends up as the first Commander? Interesting twist just the same.
Do I dare say it, that this has a web game feel to this situation where everyone gets to “spawn” on a different level after their death.
It takes a long LOST writer, JAVIER GRILLO-MARXUACH, to give us a show filled with “flash backs”, where the writers of this show try and set up the world where the City of Lights is located. Otan, the shortly dead brother of Emori, ends up in the City of Lights with nary a blemish even though in one reality he hides his various disfigurements.
Then they introduce the city of Pol**is. All this time I thought I heard the words Polis, but with their Australian accents I thought they were mentioning Polaris. Lo and behold though we actually are introduced to the significance of the word Polaris, not the missile, nor the North Star, but something totally different.
With the re-upping of The 100 for another season I think I will have to clean out my ears and pay a little more attention to what this show wants to tell us.
