The premise was that a catastrophe broke the Moon's orbit, taking Moonbase Alpha with it. Stories centered around adventures the base crew went through as the Moon traveled aimlessly through space. How it got to places so fast took some inventive writing, but it worked. Worth a watch!

i think its the bad chinese movie trying to be a american sci fi movie,, where most of the plot is around a kid who steals his uncles truck driving badge to get to the surface to impress his girlfriend.. oh, and stuff happens of a planetary scale as well
