Space Force is back! Currently I'm rewatching the first season together with my significant other, before we get cracking on the new season. Watched six episodes in a row last night and had good laughs. I hope the same will be true for the new season, but I expect not to be disappointed. I'm posting trailers for both seasons below, but I'm intentionally not watching the one for season 2 in order to avoid even the smallest spoilers.

And now we just finished season 2. It was only 7 episodes. Gotta say, this season wasn't anywhere near as good as the first season. Pretty much the whole season felt like a filler. There wasn't really anything going on until the very last minute of the last episode. I do hope it'll get renewed and that season 3 will be a banger. They left it with a cliffhanger. But if it doesn't get renewed, I guess it's easily forgettable.

It will be interesting to see what happens - Netflix is not so wealthy as it once was after its stock tumbled when it reported negative subscriber growth. So is a show like this a keeper or too rich for their blood?

I don't know what their finances are like or what the budget for this particular show is, but I think I saw that Steve Carrell is the man with the plan for this one (or at least he has some influence) and if that is the case he really needs to step up his game to keep this afloat.

I have to agree, the second season was nowhere near as good. I felt like there was a bit more "statements" being made , I can only assume for some reason, but in the end, it just made less sense.

Looks like this show was cancelled.
