Wow, so Shari Redstone is now the head of the CBS Viacom empire, and that means that the two companies can be re-merged, and we can get Star Trek back!

The article was just an overlong biography unfortunately. But yes she seems finally to have the power to undo the split and reunify the Trek licenses.

She was/is a fan of Star Trek and she made it known a while back that she did not like the new Trek and wanted the old aesthetic back. At least, that is what I have heard.
