I am so stoked!!! I loved "Resistance" and enjoyed "Resistance 2" and have lamented the fact that #3 was only a pipe dream. But now it's a reality!!! Woot woot!

It sounds like they really put some effort into making this one stellar. They're bringing back the weapons wheel that was used in the first one (it was great!) but dropped in the second. Plus they have made it more "survivalistic" in that you can upgrade and make weapons. Hopefully they were influenced by "Fallout 3" because then it will be spectacular!

Only problem is I have to wait until next September before it's out. :(

Yes, it is. :D (I loved the Dual Shock controller on this "boss"!)

That's from Resistance 2. It's good but so is the first one although that one has more of a post-WW2 feel to it. I liked the weapons options better on the first one (you can carry more). On the second one you're limited on what you can carry.

If you like FPS you should check this series out. #3 comes out (supposedly) on September 6th. Can't wait!

Im so getting this game. I have a Logitech wireless rumble controller I use for all my PC based games. But I also love keyboard/mouse play. Which is best for this game?

At last Resistance 3! I was upset that they jumped to making Killzone 3 before making Resistance 3. In the meantime, I had to settle with Resistance: Retribution on the PSP which is not quite as good as its console brothers but its a worthy entry in the series nevertheless.

I heard that a beta multiplayer demo for R3 will be available to players who buy Socom 4. Not a huge fan of Socom series so I am probably going to hold off on that.

It's a PS3 game so probably the Dual Shock 3 is the best way to play it.

Go with the rumble controller on this one. It's not totally necessary but during certain fight scenes it's pretty cool to experience that feeling. Makes it more nerve-wracking.

There will be a 30 minute single-player demo on the "Battle LA" Blue Ray DVD. Sounds perfect for my PS3!

The Logitech Thrustmaster wireless rumble controller is a two-motor equivalent to the Dual Shock controller. :) You can even plug it into a PS2 or PS3 with a built in connector on the wireless transmitter, and its also USB.
