Portal is awesome!

I was never into the whole 3D gaming 'revolution' with all the shooters that keep being pumped out ever since the likes of Quake and Unreal hit the scene. Strategysims were much more my style and it kinda bugged me that most game developers seemed to be completely focused on the shooters genre. But then came along Portal!

Portal is without a doubt the most original gaming concept to grace the scene in a long time and the first 3D game I ever really enjoyed. It's not just original but also very well executed. A storyline that instantly grips you and makes you wanna keep going even though it's late and you're tired and should really be in bed.

Thank you Valve for producing this masterpiece and giving me a 3D game I can finally enjoy!

The storyline is amazing the gameplay is amazing. It's far the most original title that has come out this year!

I love the plot twist at level 19.Totally didn't expect that.

wait till you get the custom maps

. I can't wait to make a level like this

In your spoiler, are you talking about Portal 1 or Portal 2?
Coz I was kinda expecting it in Portal 1.

Custom levels would be awesome!
I was just thinking that it would be great if there was a mapmaker to create my own levels.

I luuuuuuuuv those videos!
Very well produced.

Especially like the second and the fourth ones.

Although I've played through all of Portal 1 and 2 I can't remember coming across the levels seen in vid five and six.

You may remember him as Dr Emil Skoda in Law and Order: SVU...

During the creation of the map, the mapmaker should have the capability of planting localised areas of gravity... well I hope so anyway, lol.

Yep I saw the interactive trailer.
Though all you could do is walk around and eventually get into an explosion.

Portal is awesome!
