There is info on S1 posted somewhere- couldn't find it. Season 1 was terrible aboard the good ship Woke. writing sucked, production weird (like steam filled iron pipes in the engine room of a starship?)

The storyline on this show is pretty confusing, you don't know, who the bad guys are and if they really are bad or if the writers will plan to advise the other species lied to the space crew and plan to redeem those aliens at some point.
The worst part is, if they really are bad, then they should just destroy our planet and end the show over in a matter of "the day the Earth stood still" seconds, but yet for some reason the uber powerful aliens are just waiting and giving the space crew time to fly around the universe for years.

Typical Netflix series. Incoherent nonsense. It's really noticeable that it is the woke shows that have terrible writing - probably because they put identity politics and inter sectionalism above having a cogent story that is interesting.
