I will say going in I am not a Spider Man fan particularly. Also I generally prefer live action to animated.
But...
This wasn't bad. The story is a bit naff but can be followed, the characters all play well off of each other and it is well paced and keeps the interest.
It is also a poster boy for my recent comments that good writing trumps big budget effects. This cost only 100 million and already has nearly 300 million in receipts. VERY profitable.
