While I liked Forward Until Dawn (few niggling issues) it did set a good standard for video game movies, though I will admit the moment I saw the name Ridley Scott and the overly blue alien planet made me have Prometheus flash backs, but it looks. Interesting.

All said, it is good that finally we are getting some decent quality video game movies (mostly because that is where all the money is in the media industry), but also will it also give Neill Blomkamp another chance since he did the original live action demo for Halo 3? Probably not I know, but the guy is a good director, he knows how to do the 'shakey' cam effectively (most of is done through the eyes of the soldiers or marines in this case point of view like helmet cams, wish more people would do that).

This isn't a movie. It's a miniseries.
