I've seen weird stuff out of Google Maps too. It likes to give turns that are 180 degrees opposite of what they should be (e.g. right instead of left). As it always makes the error by 180 degrees I have to assume somewhere in the code it is transposing coordinates.

I notice in the TomTom screen that your unit had lost the GPS signal. Perhaps it defaulted back to a different "home to momma" mode when it could not connect?

Well I bought here in Ontario 6 years ago . It never did that before . It always showed the last place it had been . Never were it has never been . Maybe some aliens borrowed it for a quick tour of New York ...
