Why is Captain Marvel opening to EMPTY THEATERS?

Oh wow...Captain Marvelgate?

There are multiple reports coming out which say that Captain Marvel is opening to EMPTY theaters! This would be not real news if the reality were not that hundreds of tickets were bre-bought through Fandango and they were no shows (no refunds). This is seriously fraudulent. Did Disney buy tickets to it's own movie across the nation to pump the numbers?


Here is the Reddit on it:


The theaters are showing empty on seating charts on sites which show them, only 1hr before the prime time showing on the weekends. At Rotten Tomatoes, you can see several OBVIOUS 5-star bot posts, complete with coding errors (code characters), and nonsensical comments.

You had Rottengate where Rotten Tomatoes deleted tens of thousands of negative reviews and indeed changed their site to protect Captain Marvel. Why are they doing this? Because they want her to lead the Marvel Universe from here forward.

Social media can blow this shit wide open, if Disney does not throw money at them to suppress the info.

I love the way somebody searched the text of pro-Captain Marvel "user reviews" and revealed them to be bot posts, each one word for word identical, using different accounts. This shows me that the studio still has n00bs in their marketing department. They underestimate the power of Google and social media.

This strategy to make Captain Marvel appear to be a roaring success:

1. Seek and destroy all negative commentary published about the movie.
2. Silence all sources of opposing commentary, and also silence anyone talking about how things are being silenced.
3. Buy tickets to the movie to pump the pre-sales (and raise questions about the massive no shows)
4. Manipulate social media to raise doubt...if you can.

This movie did nowhere near what they are trying to say, IMO. Let's see how this unfolds!

They weren't reviews . You were asked whether you wanted to see the movie or not and the score sank to 26%. Also only 19 out of 54,000 had questionable or censored language regarding whether they were interested in seeing Captain 26% . There were no reviews for a movie that was not released .
Nerdrodic had saved all the pages from RT and went threw them all individually and could not find any reviews or distasteful comments minus the 19 out of 54,000 . So the media is full of crap . No one bombed anything . They just answered the dam question

Okay, but what about the theater attendance? The point of this thread was exposing a very sinister type of shilling. Theaters showing this movie are noticing that there are sometime up to 25 no-shows for every showing, and that the tickets were pre-purchased. This is being reported at theaters all across the Unite States and even in China! The narrative is that this movie is doing awesome. How about asking somebody you personally know what they thought of the movie?

Oh man, this is newer than that. Theater owners are saying that their theaters are screening to half (or way more than half) empty theaters for this film, yet the ticket sales for seats are also paired with no-shows.
