In an upcoming broadcast on Japanese video platform Nico Nico Live, members of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party are apparently going to discuss the idea of building a real life Gundam..

Unfortunately digging back through the links show that the story is not completely what it seems at first look. It turns out that in a roundtable where one of the participants is the author of mobile suit Gundam that the notion of building real life Gundam came up. It took going back through several source articles to get to it - disappointing though.
