So, for the past few years, Disney has been developing the new Star Wars hotel which is a LARPing experience (Live Action Role Playing). They showed us artwork and artist concepts but we did not get a look at the actual hotel until recently when Disney posted a cringeworthy video that gave us a preview. It was so poorly received and the backlsh was so extreme (in the form of cancellations) that Disney pulled the video from YouTube, their website and all social media. Severa YouTubers have covered it. Here is Star Wars Theory on this, and his video includes Disney's promo video.

There have been so many cancellations that even the first month of opening has several slots available. Disney is asking for between $5000 and $6000 for less than 48 hours on this thing.

Drunk 3P0 got a leak of the details of the "excursion" people get for their thousands of dollars. It does not sound that exciting, and the rushed itenerary make it understandable why people are canceling. It looks cheap, despite its alleged "luxury" claim.

They expect people who have spent $6000 to consider this food to be luxurious.

So this experience for just 48 hours costs nearly three times what I paid to sail to the UK, tourist there and fly back for 7 days?
