Good choice.
I think he will do great...but he will have to shed that dashing new beard and stache he is rocking. Ben is aging well both physically and as an actor.Gatefan1976

So is this a sequel as in typical sequel? That is, it will have the "man of steel" superman in it but also feature the batman character? Or is it just a sequel as in another DC comics movie?

Both my wife and I thought it sucked and was slooooooooooow. She asked me about 1h30 into the movie "So, when does this movie start?".
Still, I thought it could have potential.

LMFAO! So, they have had Val Kilmer and Gorge Clooney as Batman, but they cant have Ben Affleck? HAHAHA
. Okay. I never liked Superman or Superboy or Supergirl or any of that. I couldnt buy all the kryptonite and xray eyes and stuff. Batman is a cool character, but the villians suck and they keep changing him and the Batmobile. It never seems to settle on itself and focus. Now that the coolest Batman has run off with Catwoman, what is left?

Why should I care if there are negative comments from "everybody" about Affleck being Batman? Im saying that if they have had Clooney and Kilmer and Michael Keaton, then Ben Affleck is no big deal to me. Now if they chose Stephen Colbert or Justin Timberlake to be Batman, I might whine a little.
Im not a serious Batman fan...I think Christian Bale was the best so far though.

Affleck, to me, is a jump back to the toilet floaters with the likes of Kilmer and Clooney rather than going forward from Bale, who was the best batman to date hands down except for that stupid smoker's throat voice.

They destroyed Catwoman completely when they chose Anne Hathaway, and why they burned down Wayne Manor and "killed off" Bruce Wayne is beyond me. I think they are going to re-imagine Batman and dummy him down (thats hard considering he is already dumbed down) and make the batcave look like the inside of Tony Stark's lab
So, if they want to throw Ben Affleck in it, they might as well get Bruce Willis as Alfred, Beyonce as Catwoman, and bring in Justin Beiber as Robin.
