A Wrinkle In Time (it's FANTASY!) - thumbs down
Pacific Rim 2 - not excited, looks too much like Power Rangers
Ready Player One - FANTASY, looks super dumb
Rampage - Interesting
Solo: Star Wars - Meh, can we just get past the characters in the OT please?
Jurassic World - thumbs up
Alita Battle Angel - FANTASY, not interested in feature length cartoon, sorry
The Predator - thumbs up
Captive State - thumbs up
The Darkest Minds - FANTASY
Mortal Engines - sounds interesting
Code 8 - FANTASY, looks interesting

Over the past 5 years, the definition of science fiction has fuzzied up just as I feared it would. Another member here who has gone was all for the fuzzy meshing of actual science fiction and fantasy, and I remember warning that we would lose SciFi if that happened, and that is what has happened. People no longer know what defines science fiction and fantasy. If it's in space, to them it's science fiction.

And WHY do critics keep including animated movies in with live action movies and don't tell us? If the film is animated, then tell us right off the bat please. :)

That's what annoys me so much people think fantasy is science fiction when it isn't. For example, try explaining that Neogenics is not science fiction in Spiderman
