I'm not familiar with Necroscope but it sounds pretty cool. I get what you're saying about how it could go either way in terms of how it's produced though. These days it's a crap shoot.

BTW -- the premise sounds a bit like Jonah Hex what with talking to the dead and all.

Necroscope has been around since 86, so perhaps Lumley was influenced by the Idea from the original Jonah Hex comic books, It's possible.
From what I can see though, Jonah Hex and Harry Keogh (the "hero" in Necroscope) are very different.
If you like horror, I'd give Necroscope a read dude, they are quite good.

I'm just gonna chuckle when the Twillight fans go to see another vampire movie and get the shit scared out of them, cause these vamps are NOT light and fluffy

Cool, the movie is about vampires and weed: " One assumes the film will follow the potline of the first novel..."

I think it would be cool if someone committed to making movies out of the 'interview with a vamp' series of books..BUT, make it more like the book and not just a vehicle for a couple of hollywood pretty boys. I would at least like to see 'Memnoch the devil' made.

I always thought a movie involving vamps and zombies would be good. one where the vamps are on the human's side-protecting their food supply so to speak. but now with all the zombie saturation, i could care less if one was made.
