In the 90s while I was still very, very young I used to enjoy watching an animated show called "Reboot". The concept of the show was great.Mainly, using computer terms. There are a bunch of people(that being program living inside a mainframe(city). I don't believe I would have ended up loving computers if it weren't for this show. I believe it was the first ever animated show done in CGI.

Reboot needs a... er reboot. The CG looks like an cutscene from an early PS1 or particularly a Sega Saturn game. I was never a big fan of the show it was new so there's not much nostalgia value for me. I imagine this show was probably a technical marvel in kids TV programming in 1994. Despite the CG looking primitive now, this is probably the best they could do in order to make an entirely based CG kid's TV series way back then and not make it prohibitively expensive to produce at the same time.

@@#@$@#

Sorry, but being a big fan of reboot I couldn't be happier. I hope the original voice-over are still there and they don't stuff up the storyline.Glad to know the reboot franchise is still being worked on :)

We are continuing to evolve as a multifaceted animation studio working on both work-for-hire productions and developing several proprietary projects," said Warren Franklin, CEO of the company. "Our current slate includes several projects including a film based on the classic series ReBoot and two other theatrical movies: Ogo, based on Canada's famous water monster believed to reside in Lake Okanagan and Ting and Juma, the movie based on Rainmaker's own proprietary characters. Also we are developing a series of animated holiday specials based on the 1939 children's classic Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes originally written by DuBose Heyward."

The guy who did the voice of megabyte (Tony Jay) and who also featured on Star Trek as well and also Lion King, passed away on so we won't be able to hear that awesome strong voice
