I was kinda tired after a long week of house habbing and work and was just paging through Amazon and came across this little movie. The trailer looked interesting enough that I hunted around for a free version and found it on my Xfinity On Demand.
And....not bad.
Let me note that there seems to be a lot of Harlock animated material out there. I am referring to the 2015 TOEI Studios animated movie. The story in this one resembles the others but also has significant differences.
Animation quality is pretty good. It is sort of Pixar-ish but with a much more realistic feel and look. The story while kind of weird is properly laid out and can be followed. And the voice acting meshes well with the animation.
Ultimately it was worth the watch.
