    Ridiculous. Sponsored by Big Tobacco.

The ingredients of ALL independent e-cig juices:

    • Vegetable glycerine
    • Propylene Glycol
    • Flavoring (food grade)
    • Nicotine (OPTIONAL)
That's all. E-cigarettes are causing millions of people to stop buying tobacco and cigarettes and cigars and all tobacco products. They are in a panic. I smoked for 35 years and vaping ecigs saved my life. The science does not add up.

That is exactly what they are trying to do, and I totally understand why. :) So do the millions of us ex-smokers who have been saved by e-cigs.

I have nothing against people smoking e-ciggs, but smoking e-cigarettes should be used as a way of quitting not picking another habit up. Just my 2cents :)

This sort of research is why I am not easily fooled by this dumb mass media propaganda aimed at the sheep. This study was done by the University of North Carolina. This is their study (in a nutshell...from your link):

A scientific minded person knows that nose sampling would also necessarily include ALL particulate and non-particulate gasses passing over the membranes, thus nullifying any empirical result with any accuracy. The four ingredients of e-cigarette juice are already tested and used in products already studied.

    Second, there is this:http://www.statista.com/statistics/192022/top-10-tobacco-producing-us-states/

    10 biggest tobacco producing states

    10 biggest tobacco producing states.PNG

Then there is the personal, medically verifiable health improvements and extraordinary change for the better that I myself have experienced after smoking regular cigarettes for 35 years. I find this ridiculous attempt by Big Tobacco to continue killing people with their deadly product by falsely accusing the harmless (but profit killing) healthy alternative disgusting.

Big Tobacco already had a game plan. They jumped on the "Yes, you should quit smoking" train because they had it hitched to the "Smoking Cessation" locomotive which was going to keep them in business. It included buying up all of the e-cigarette companies like Vuze, GreenSmoke and Blu, and also the patches and even some prescription drugs. The INDEPENDENT e-cigarette industry blindsided them.

I think if vaping was worse for one's health than smoking we would already see visible, empirical proof of vapers getting disease, being hospitalized in recordable numbers and/or dying. Is there data showing that yet?

If the claims made by the anti-vapers were true, then one would not need to have statistics to know that it was bad.

The moment a smoker takes up an e-cigarette, they are moving towards quitting smoking. I am a NON-SMOKER today because of vaping. I do not smoke. It is known empirically that a significant portion of all deaths in America is directly or indirectly caused by smoking. The act of smoking is literally smoke inhalation and one can die from that even if it is not tobacco smoke. Vaping is not smoking. Not even close.

I used vaping to quit smoking. I only vape now if I go out and will be around a bunch of smokers for hours. This might be once every 2 months. There is no nicotine or tobacco in mine at all, it's not a habit, I use it socially as a substitute to not be tempted to smoke. I smoked a pack a day. I call BS on this. I am MUCH healthier now. I don't wheeze or get sinus infection after sinus infection and I can smell and taste food again. I have not smoked a cigg since I got my vape and I weaned myself down to hardly any vaping since there is nothing addictive in it. I don't even think about it unless I see people smoking. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to quit.

EXACTLY! The only people who would believe this crap about dangerous vaping would be those who have never smoked (or vaped). Vaping saved my life for sure.

Saw a guy surreptitiously vaping in the cheese aisle at the grocery store yesterday. I noticed him exhaling vapor as he slipped his "pipe" back into his pocket. It was kind of funny because no one else noticed him do it even though the place was packed with people. :icon_lol:

It's funny, you can vape inside at most places, but I prefer to go out with smokers to get more of a realistic substitution feeling from it. I miss smoke breaks, just not the smoking.

I resent the title of this thread. It is written as though it was a fact when it is not. Not even remotely close to factual.

I added the words Fact or Fiction to the title of this thread because the title was misleading.

For the record, it is FICTION that e-cigs shut down immune system genes. E-cigs do not shut down any genes or systems whatsoever.

Out of every person I see who appears to be smoking, it looks like only 1 out of every 5 is actually smoking. They are vaping. :) In California, at least. I think the biggest incentive for the switch is the cost. It is a fraction of the cost to vape as compared to smoking.
