Caprica replaced by TNG

I just saw the TV schedule of Syfy for the next Tuesday. They will show TNG after Stargate Universe.

The will show the TNG episode "A Matter of Time".

So there will be two TNG episodes, then SGU, then TNG, then SGU. What a line-up!

wow so much new programming! it didnt seem to help sgu before so i dont see why it should help it now.

I predicted it!

I predicted that four hours of TNG would be forthcoming and it seems I am right. as soon as they finish the first ten eps of sgpoo we will get a four hour block of tng and I can guarantee it will get better ratings at a lower cost to syfy than sgpoo.

Great well I think it's only to make the ones who will watch TNG in first and if they want to watch the third ep they will have to watch before it one ep sgu so they hope to increase the rates like this expecting for TNG audience will stay to watch it.
Desperate measure to attempt to save sgu of cancellation.

Dammit, I wish if they were going to show ancient ST episodes, they'd show DS9. I liked that show tons more than TNG. Or better yet, original Trek. And wouldn't that be a hoot if they showed a forty-year old sci fi show and it drew two or three times the ratings of SGpoo!

I was just thinking, when are they going to get the rights to show DS9 and Voyager? They were playing the original series for a while. I would love to see an all Star Trek block on Tuesday nights.

I know Spike had the rights to DS9 and Voyager for a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if the SyFy execs don't want to get them because that would threaten their "mainstreaming" of the channel (which is utter bullshit, as they are making it into a channel no one wants to watch).
