syfy channel new changes

while watching the recent season of 12 monkeys i saw the syfy commercial claiming that 'big changes' were coming to the channel in July,I think. So, what were they? I DVR anything of interest from SYFY through my PSVUE. I no longer even go to the channel unless on recommendation.
