I'm happy with my Lumia Icon, thank you very much.

I've used a Blackberry, Android phones, iPhones and now my Windows phone over the last decade or so.

I'll stick with the Windows phone.

But they avoid taxes by several orders of magnitude more than Booger King, which you've sworn to boycott for that very reason. What about your principles? :icon_lol:

I hate the Fruit Company more.

Plus, the Fruit Company also does that kind of lovely offshoring of funds in Ireland.

Yes, but Microsoft has more cash offshore and evades more taxes than The Fruit Company.

http://www.bloomberg.com/infographics/2014-03-12/offshore-profits-avoid-irs-reach.html

As of March 2014:
Microsoft - $76.4B
Apple: $54.4B

I was just calling you out on boycotting BK for this reason but not MS, the second largest legal tax evader in the US next to General Electric. :D

I simply just don't like Apple. I find their products are a ripoff and subsequent generations of their stuff is just rehashed and overpriced.

Burger King's burgers also give me digestive issues.

Really.

Makes me wonder what they're making them with.

It's probably whatever they do to the meat to simulate the flame broiled flavor. :(

Other than that, I think they use the same meat-from-a-tooth-paste-tube all the other fast-food national chains use.

I haven't had a BK burger in over 20 years and yet I can still taste that fake flame broiled flavor. :smiley-015:

Whoa! Back then, they DID flame broil them. They put the [thawed] fresh meat patty onto a flaming grill and even lightly toasted the bun. Then they would screw it all up with 30 seconds in the microwave. I used to tell them at the cash when making my order "No microwave". I used to love BK way back when. :(

The stuff was foul tasting shite 20 years ago and it's still foul tasting shite today. The fact that you had to tell them not to microwave a burger is telling. I mean, why would they need to microwave a flame broiled burger? :daniel_new004:

To melt the cheese except they would put the patty with the bottom bun in the microwave. They flame broiled the patty without the cheese on a small gas grill that moved the patty to the other side when done. The burger was actually a raw patty and it was cooked right out in plain sight of the customers. It was a better tasting burger than any of the other fast food franchises until they stopped flame broiling it. Now it just sucks. :(

I totally agree with the bolded. I didnt like Apple even way back when they were making Macintosh. Even back then, the people who bought them were buying "cool" and not substance.

That is the way In N Out still makes theirs, but they use a griddle. It is all in plain sight of drive-thru and restaurant patrons alike. You can see them actually cutting the fries from potatoes. :) But the top of them all for me now is Five Guys, even though they are not really fast food.

They do not look like iPhones now. The fanboys have nothing unique about their phones now, and they will be compared to Android phones from here on out because they are now FOLLOWING the trends that Android has set for them to follow. They are not the best, they are not the most powerful OR the best built. Look at this beauty from Sony:

http://www.sonymobile.com/us/products/phones/xperia-z3/?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=Sony xperia Z3&utm_campaign=sony mobile|standard|branded|z3|xperia terms

They are also releasing a Compact version (smaller). This thing has specs that blow the iPhone 6 away. Even the current Galazy S5 blows the future iPhone specs away. The new iPhone will have NFC and a 4.7" screen (like the Galaxy S2, LOL). The new Sony kicks it's ass with a 5.2" screen PLUS it is waterproof and can take pictures underwater. :) Sony has equipped it with PS4 remote gaming as well.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the 20.7mp camera with autofocus. :) This Xperia is coming out swinging and it even knocks Samsung off the block. It will be my next phone, and YES, it has a MicroSD slot, but it will support up to 128GB and not just 64. That is an aluminium case you are looking at too....Apple fanboys take notice.

Maybe the taste appealed to you back then but to me it tasted fake. The "flame broiled" aspect was just too pronounced, or so I thought. I don't mean to impugn your palette but you are Canadian so of course your tastes can't be trusted. I'm sure you understand and will take no offense. :P

*And apologies to everyone for the thread drift I am contributing to. In my defense I squarely blame the Canadian who started this detour. I'm tellin' ya folks, first they come here and steal our jobs, then they get online and stir the shit pot. It won't be long before they start to steal our women. :moody:

5 Guys is better than In N Out?

Uh ... sure. Coming from someone who lives in the land of sugar bread and corn-fed cows, I'll simply take your word for it. :icon_lol:

Canadians don't steal your jobs, they steal your money and your good employees and bring them up north for better pay. :icon_lol:

It's true, though. Americans are making their way north for jobs because the economy isn't suffering. The minimum wage up north starts at $10.45 and healthcare is free. :D
