I do not trust Microsoft enough to use them as my primary operating system. Im done with experiencing the slowdown of Windows towards death of the operating system after you have a year or so of surfing, installing programs, rebooting, crashing, etc. So, why the thread?
GAMING!
Nothing beats a high end Windows desktop for gaming. No console (including Microsoft’s own Xbox) can come close to what you get on a PC in terms of graphics, gaming control or overall user experience. Only on a PC based game can you modify files to change clothes, objects, even create your own environments or maps with so much control and so many options.
I had to give Microsoft props for Windows as a gaming platform, because nothing else out there comes close. I could see having a dedicated gaming box created from a Windows desktop with connected USB game controllers or wireless controllers and a big screen.
