:icon_rotflmao: What an idiot.
I am simply a fan of the show, and am not affiliated with any of the cast, crew, writing staff, producers, studio or special effects companies who produced SGU. I just looked at the situation, and asked myself “why is nobody running a kickstarter campaign to bring SGU back?”.

Some FAQ here posted on his website.

This is a somewhat personal view, I'll admit, but SG-1 and Atlantis both had a good run, and came to reasonably adequate conclusions. I'll admit I'd like to see what happens next in the atlantis storyline, but I'm not frustrated at where they left it. There was no cliff hanger, no spaceship hurtling through space with people in stasis, potentially drifting forever, with the possibility of hostile forces tracking them down. SGU was cut off with no satisfactory conclusion.
Additionally, SGU represented a slightly different approach to episodic Scifi drama that I believe was ahead of it's time, and is ripe for a revival. it was less cheese ball, and more gritty, without taking itself too seriously. Don't get me wrong, SG-1 and Atlantis were great, but SGU was something different

This is my favorite line, misspelling included:

That said, he has managed to get $4678 at the time of writing, but the other $49,995,322 is going to be might hard to get.

He can buy some new carpet for his basement, a whole year's supply of Spaghetti-Os for his mom to make for him and even a growing chamber for his Arcturian Donut Bush. What happens to the money if the show does not get produced? Does he just get to keep it? I thought that was illegal.

Oh dear lord that is goody gumdrop goodness. Also a slightly different approach to episodic sci-fi drama? What you mean, have a major point which everyone then completely ignores until the last moment because they are too dimwitted to ask the basic questions like "Oh yeah Chloe? She like bled out and came back to life" and everyone is fine with that. This is the exact same formula LOST used, basically we know more information than the characters know, mostly because of their own stupidity and the Destiny is like of like a sloth version of the Event Horizon.

Oh wait he's serious?

If you want to know what an Aussie sounds like, ask OM, we have spoken togeather (albeit a long while ago now). The best way to describe an Aussie accent is to think of WHERE we put our emphasis, and it's on our vowels, not really our words, Our spoken words tend to really just blend into one stupidly long single word. "gEtthEfUckOUtdUdE", where the capitals are our stress points is about right.

My mechanic, known for more than 12 years, is a full on Aussie. His favorite term is "fockall" :) (eg. Those wankers know fockall about beer). Also, when random people stop at the shop to ask for directions, his first answer is "Youre focked". :) Then he gets the maps out. He is a sweetheart of a guy, but you have to get to know him. And he is a longhair, at over 60 years old.

You have a more rounded Aussie accent, without all the 'ard edges. :anim_59:

That's cause people look to the croc hunter to get their idea of our accent, and it just isn't right. The accent he has/had is around 20% of the population. It's like expecting everyone on the US to sound like a "Southern Belle" and say stuff like "well I do declare"
