I don't mind Cumberbatch in the role, especially when you consider some of the other contenders like Joaquin Phoenix. And I know everyone thinks that Jared Leto is the second coming of Christ but he doesn't do it for me at all, period. At least BC has personality and appeal so he will probably do well with it.

Okay, he is a cat lover. And if that kitten likes him, I suppose he is worth trusting! I will have to get past his performance as Kahn, cause I am not familiar with anything else he has done outside of that. He is an interesting actor, even if utterly miscast and underutilized in Star Trek Into Dumbness.

Yes, definitely miscast in ST:ID, but he's still a good actor nonetheless. And compared to some of the other guys they were considering for Dr. Strange he's a definite win.
