Hulu+ . Really? I got bored of some of the offerings on Netflix and Prime, and I decided to check out Hulu for new stuff. Are they kidding? They show all the content on an easy to see page with the titles, but when you click half of them, they say "Only available with Hulu+, Try for free". They collect your name, information and then a credit card for billing you monthly (you can cancel this before 7 days). Hulu+ lasted all of three hours for me before I cancelled it. Why? (pouring a fresh glass of water for this)
Incomplete content.
Hulu+ does NOT have all the episodes for any given TV show. They have the most recent, and that is about it. They do not have all of the latest shows either. They do not have great movies.
Commercials.
This is the dealbreaker and the reason I canceled the service. I can stand the 10 second skippable ads on YouTube. I can even stand the three or four 10 second commercials on individual online media sites like ABC or Syfy Rewind. But on Hulu+, we are talking about almost 20 minutes worth of commercials for a 1 hour show. Really? Not in my world.
Commercials.
Did I go over this already? If not, let me repeat that this piece of shit service has as many or more commercials than cable TV does. I am not going to pay for commercials when Netflix does not have them, and torrents do not have them. Not going to happen, not ever.
I cannot understand why anybody would pay for this service. After TRYING to wade through a parade of commercials (many repeated the same one several times in the SAME show), I got sick of it and canceled my membership because I was afraid that Hulu might not make it easy to cancel once they had my credit card. But it's canceled.
