Chris Pratt as the new Indiana Jones

Disney has just started to turn its attention to reviving the Indiana Jones franchise after buying the rights from Paramount in 2013. I’m cautioned that while things are very early, I hear the studio has set its sights on Chris Pratt as the swashbuckling archaeologist they hope to build the new franchise around

In a world of tropes, zeitgeists, emoji's etc, even if you DO make something new, someone will find what you are ripping off.

Obviously we're not big fans of the reboot phenomenon of late,myself included, but to be honest this one doesn't bug me too much. If they're going to reboot "Indy" (and we all know they are going to) at least Chris Pratt would be a good choice for the lead (or Chris Pine). After all, the last thing I'd want to see is someone like Seth Rogen play the role.

Yes, there is something about the Indiana Jones character that does not say fat stoner.

As sick and twisted as that may seem, I'd actually go see that just for the laughs.
