Wow . Was quite surprised by this . My son insisted I take him to see it . Man he is a movie madman as of late lol . Anyway it was a pretty darn good movie . Watching it tho I kept getting the impression there are previous movies that build up the story line in this one . Am I correct in that assumption ? Now saying that I now want to see the previous ones if there are any . I was unfamiliar with one of the characters also . He seems to be a cyborg of some sort with alien tech taking over his body .
Thank goodness this Flash is fun and silly . The TV series of the Flash just plain sucks .
I was also surprised that I liked Ben Affleck as Batman . He is a great Batman and did the character justice , forgive the pun.

Had heard it was better than Batman v Superman but also choppy because about half the film had to be reshot. Glad it turned out decent, although at current box office WB is going to take a bath on it.

As far as I know there's Batman vs. Superman and there's Wonder Woman. And perhaps also Suicide Squad.

Reshot? What happened? :daniel_new004:
After the Batman v Superman disaster Zack Snyder left. But at that point as lot of Justice League was already in the can. When they brought in Joss Whedon to finish it they also reshot a goodly number of scenes to try to make the film less dark and moody.

I am not sold on these Marvel and DC comics movies that are being released to be honest. They look like I am watching a bad power ranger movie. I dont mean to sound bitter but I much prefer the animated series of batman, especially from the 90's.

If it had been all dark and crap like the Dark Night and other Batman movies then I would have totally not liked it . I did see Super Man and Wonder Woman but I did not see how they tied into this movie . I did not see Super Man chokes Batman so I may try and stomach watching that one and from what I heard it was crap but it may answer a few of those lost moments that I did not know in Justice League ... What's with the Robot guy tho ? Anyone , anyone , Bueller , Bueller ?

This movie was no War and Peace but it was somewhat entertaining at points. I enjoyed a few chuckles while watching it. I really think that Jason Momoa is one of the best versions of Aquaman I have seen in a long time, this is not saying much, but he was at least, a great watery Ronan. It was much better than Batman VS Superman but that is not saying much. Barry had a few good lines that reminded me of the innocent 'Oh Cool man..' comments from Spiderman in Civil War but still had a few cute scenes. Wonder Woman was okay but the Amazons still don't ring very true at times. Yes, this is ironic but the others feel more possible as far as reality is concerned in the DC World. Cyborg was poorly designed and while it might be what the accident would have created, it was unpleasant and not palatable to watch. Ben Afleck did a much better job that I thought he would, but Amy Adams felt very two dimensional in this one.

I have been waiting for some of you here to say something about this movie. :)

it was a horrible pile of garbage. Aquaman was completely pointless and the movie was still too dark with some forced humor thrown in with poor timing. Flash is a wuss in spite of the fact that he's probably the most powerful superhero in existence given the range of his power (i.e. he can time travel, cross into parallel universes, and throw light speed punches that would annihilate whatever he hit, to name a few). I left the movie feeling like the world sucks and life as we know it is pointless. When I leave a Marvel movie, I feel pumped, optimistic and thoroughly entertained. So far, everything DC except for Bale's Batman trilogy and Suicide Squad feel like a long depressing episode in a teenager's life.

I tend to agree except for Bale's Batman. Those movies were rather dark and Bale's performance was very off-putting I found. I admit that last part is subjective. I did like the performance of the other actors for the most part though.

It's hard to describe but the best way I can put it is that Chris Nolan movies tend to have a certain level of bleakness about them. Even if his protagonists win there's still something depressing about the whole package.

There's no denying that the Batman trilogy, overall, did far better than any other DC superhero movie. The Dark Knight made it to the list of top earning movies of all time.

They did do far better, in revenue. But did you enjoy them? The Star Trek 2009 movie did better than all the Star Trek movies before it in revenue, and so did Into Darkness. But they were both mediocre movies in terms of entertainment and a fail if you wanted Star Trek.

I enjoyed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, the latter being my favorite of the trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises seemed rushed and it felt like Bale phoned in his part. They could have picked a much better storyline than Bane.

I will say that yes, it was not the best movie and I am singing no songs of praise, but it was entertaining to watch at times.

If I want more, Marvel tends to excel over DC, but yet, I won't completely discount it. I think that it might take a while, but the franchise does have potential. Look, to me, this is like Coke and Pepsi. Coke will never beat Pepsi, but that does not mean when I am thirsty and the only thing at the party is Pepsi, that I would not enjoy a nice cold glass of Pepsi, while still wishing it was Coke.

You can say the same thing for so many other brands...Nike, MicroSoft, FedEx...they have really big competitors, but really they are the kings in their field. I am just happy to give a bit of credit to a much better movie than the previous in this one, B VS S sucked ass, The Justice League was more than watchable. Since, I don't have any new Marvel movies around right now( Bring on more Dr. Strange Please.....) then this was well worth a watch.
