So what? blah,blah,blah

bet it will still suck!

the TPTB's are trying to force this show into a merge (possibly) with TWD as the show moves its setting to Texas and Lennie James' character, Morgan, will meet up with the lunatic, dysfunctional family from LA.

All in the time frame between TWD's S1 appearances of Morgan and when he returns during the Terminus days

so, is Madison and her crazy kids not far behind him? Fan speculation also is that Madison is related to a major character in TWD

so yeah..blah,blah..just passing it on :)

Yep, it's gonna suck:

Casting reports also suggest that they’re bringing back only the most popular returning characters next season: Kim Dickens (Madison), Frank Dillane (Nick), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia), Colman Domingo (Victor) and Danay Garcia (Luciana). That means the last Salazar, Daniel, is out, and so I expect are the Native Americans (at least for now.)

The show is also relocating to Texas, which is far more like the rural South that The Walking Dead has inhabited the last eight seasons. Most importantly, they’re bringing in Lennie James’ Morgan Jones, and from what we can tell, the timelines are syncing up with The Walking Dead.

Pretty obvious that the show's ratings problems are prompting AMC to do some surgery.

They created a separate story to be told in a city during the zombie apocalypse, and within four episodes we were on a boat headed to Mexico. Since then, we never saw another city ever again, and now they are going to end up in the same dumb rural settings that TWD takes place in? I suppose TWD has proven it has a large audience, but there is a HUUUUUGE swath of viewers who have no love for the deep south or anything taking place there.

If by some miracle you haven't seen this yet, I understand this to be an accurate description of TWD:

You'll never get it out of your head. You're welcome.

Who are the morons that are still watching these two shit shows?

well count me as one :)

well, sort of, i haven't watched FTWD since the s2 opener

i blame my "disease" of needing to complete stuff-like reading a book or watching a show or movie without giving up

i now only half ass watch TWD and never in real time

this season i watched the first ep and last week's ep and probably will only watch the season finale

i am slightly interested in how it will all end, but they are talking 3 more seasons for TWD !!!!! WTF?! ---seriously

we will be getting into magic children jumping sharks into space alien ships by then

Life is too short to waste on "completing" crap like this. And as for this show ending, Kirkman doesn't even know how to end the comic so I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a satisfying ending to this crap show. Even having Rick die at the end will be too little, too late. I bailed seasons ago. You should too.

The stupidest part is he had the perfect place to end the comic when the allied communities defeated Negan and the Saviors. His 2 year time jump after that could have been done more in the form of letting us know what happens to the main characters and then just leave it where he had it right after the jump - the communities are rebuilt and prospering and there are four of them, and they not only have secured themselves against the walkers but have been clearing the area between them of walkers.

apparently next season some organized force of (dressed so eerily close to white armored stormtroopers) will be making their appearance, opening a whole new story line

Even the zombies are horrible. No treat anymore.
Good Lord. :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Who are the morons that are still watching these two shit shows? Seriously, I just don't get it. The writing is horrible. The acting is horrible. The characters are reprehensible, unappealing assholes. And the production values are insultingly cheap. I gave up on both of these turds ages ago and I don't miss them one bit.

Me too. I stopped just before the episode where Lori turned into a zombie (according to the folks here). I just couldn't watch it after that. And Fear The Walking Dead lost me after Nick started going off the deep end and consorting with zombies.

Nick -- heroin addict/zombie whisperer. :rolleye0014:

I knew early on that they weren't going to kill Nick off -- ever. Like Rick from TWD there is no sense of endangerment surrounding this character because it's obvious the writers erroneously believe he is integral to the show. This is just one of the reasons why I gave up on these lousy shows. Why waste my time caring about characters that I know aren't in any real danger even though it's a zombie apocalypse and people are dropping like flies? There is no genuine drama involved with these characters because they are indestructible. They are swaddled in "plot armor". So why should I care about characters that aren't in any real jeopardy? That's just a stupid waste of time.

but zombies are at Nick's--and his sister's (what a waste of an actress hey?) grade level

They dragged out the tall dude who was with Madison (can't remember his name), and the petulant son with mommy issues. And Alicia just plain pissed me off. The rest of the characters got boring but the backdrop got boring first. Now, they want to merge the two stories into a single show? Why would anyone trying to survive zombies head to rural Texas? Bet on me being high in the mountains in a cabin near a lake. When I'm fishing, I am safe from zombies. A cabin will be in a forest where stumbling zombies would make plenty of noise before ever becoming a threat. But hey, they are the ones who have to make their story work.

and Alycia (her real name as well-Alycia Debnam Carey)-i hope she is not one of those ppl who can't remember their character name! or else that would kill the memory I have of her from The 100. she should have stayed on that show

and you know, at face value, the 100 should be the damned silly show and either of TWD's be the "serious" one. funny how that worked out

The 100 turned out GREAT even though they are obviously making up the story season to season. It's the characters who make that show a success. Is it still going?

i only watched- on YT, the beginning of FTWD 4.1 and the ending scene

they have made a very large time jump and, guessing a big geographically move as well

the addition of Morgan to the show and having the two whiny sibling become 'bushwackers' of some sort is a clear attempt to restart the show and give it a far stronger connection to TWD.

at least they will seemingly be keeping Lennie James (Morgan) on cast for awhile
great actor who always seems to end up in shitty shows stateside. he is far better utilized in britain
