Really too short of a trailer to tell much. But yes Thanos looks like a WWE wrestler.

Looks like it'll be one helluva busy movie.

This is why action flicks exist. No character development needed, since they assume viewers have read the comics, and even if they haven't, there will be plenty of 'splosions and fighting and cool effects to be worth it for popcorn eaters. :)

Based on the previews and spoiler reviews this ends on a cliffhanger and it is safe to say the second film will have to have a MASSIVE reset button hit.

I heard that a few of them die but being the comic-verse they can always come back from the dead at a later date. I also heard that Chris Evans wants to wrap things up with "Capt. A" so it wouldn't surprise me if he buys the farm.

Actually given the ending a reset button is necessary:

Thanos wins. ALL of the Guardians die plus a lot of the other superheroes and half of the living beings in the universe.

I am not sold on these movies. Maybe I may sound like a grumpy old man but this doesn't appeal to me.

I don't get why they made Capt America the de facto "leader" of the team. He is boring to me, and Stark seems like he should be the leader.

Cap has military experience in leading men into battle while Stark tends to be more of a solo act and is rather anti-social. Yes Cap is somewhat boring but he's a cohesive factor in regards to getting "people" to work together.

Stark is psychotic! I hypothesize that Downey is drawing on his years as heroin addict to play Stark!

Um, I believe it was crack cocaine. :) I know it was...

But he (Stark) is such an arrogant ass, Captain America is just....boring.

Make that two grumpy old men...I am not sold on them either. :) I was just not into all of these comic book heroes as a kid. I read Batman, Supes, Spiderman, Aquaman, Hulk and the Green Lantern comics. I also read a few involving Galactus and the Silver Surfer and a few others. Once I was past the comic book phase, I never read one again (just grew out of them). There are just too many characters, too many superheroes. The movie versions are going too far over the top for me.

I thought it was heroin? Maybe it was both? Regardless, it was an addictive opiate. I'm glad the guy got off of that stuff but I think it's permanently affected him. In interviews he seems a bit off if you ask me. But he does manage to do a good job of acting still.

Perhaps heroin too. But in 2001 it was crack cocaine. I know where he went to rehab. :)

I think you reach a point to how much can they bend it so much without screwing it over. I still watch cartoon series provided the fact that it's written well and character development. The recent batman cartoon series I watched was the japanese adaption of it and I thought that was written well. I still watch anime because I feel that some of them do know how to write interesting characters with interesting personalities. Whilst, these marvel comic superhero movie are just dull no personality and character development at all. I still watch the older marvel comic shows if they do show it, just like the TMNT stuff as well.

I finally saw this on Saturday. Good movie. Has humor and action of course. Ending was surprising and unique, but depressing. I'm sure they'll somehow turn stuff around in the sequel, at least I certainly hope so. On the other hand, they did say that they are finishing up this stage of MCU and will be doing about 20 entirely new movies based on other characters.
